What is Oman PKI?
Oman PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) is a national initiative that is associated with the National ID/Resident Card of the authorized signatory. It is employed in order to enable online transactions and to raise the level of security and authenticity of electronic paperwork. It allows exchanging information securely as it provides a high level of confidentiality by using a mobile PKI using your mobile device or a card based PKI using an external plugin device on your laptop/PC. TDP’s e-Sign is the only digital signature in Oman that is validated with Oman PKI.
