Eng. Maqbool Al Wahaibi is the Chief Executive Officer of The Data Park (TDP), the first Managed & Cloud Service Provider in Oman. He is part of the Executive Management Team and was one of the founding team members who established TDP.

Maqbool was honored at the AIWA Awards in 2018. Tradearabia says of him, “As a part of the executive management and founding team that established The Data Park, Al Wahaibi has been instrumental in developing solutions tailored to address the banks, financial Institutions, oil and gas, healthcare, government, education and professional services sectors.”

His experience of more than two decades of work in the IT field plus his work as one of the executives driving the development of The Data Park makes him ideal for helping businesses understand and develop strategies for technology business success.

His vision to make TDP become one of the top 10 Managed Service Providers in the world by 2025 has driven us from small beginnings to receiving industry awards. The Data Park began offering bare metal servers in 2011. Now, it is a full-fledged data center.

Along the way, many firsts for Oman have been achieved. The Data Park was the first TIA 942 Rating 3 certified datacenter, the first virtual data center and the first to offer a MS Azure Stack Service.

Hassan Abdul Ali heads our Service Delivery and Project Management Office. During his 30+ years of experience, Hassan has worked with some of the top leaders in IT including VMWare VDC, Azure Cloud, IBM Power VM, and Redhat KVM. He has been involved in key projects such as Cisco collaboration, IBM middleware, EFT switch technology implementation, and Citrix virtualization.

A veteran in the banking sector in Oman, he was also instrumental in the implementation of various Banking applications, e-government systems, B2B, B2G, Enterprise Service Bus, E-business applications and BPM.

Effective project management means having the best governance, transparency, and reusability. Hassan ensures The Data Park follows best practices to help our clients accomplish their projects as smoothly as possible.

Jamal Al Khusaibi has more than 24 years of extensive experience in the field of Information Technology. He has a wide range of expertise in IT Security, IT Infrastructure, Operations Management and technology project management. 

Al Khusaibi has been into various managerial roles in his career path prior to joining The Data Park as General Manager Service Delivery and Project Management.

Al Khusaibi holds an MSc in Information Systems Management from the University of Liverpool, from the United Kingdom, in addition to earning several other certifications in the area of information technology.

One of the first points of contact for our clients is Said Al Jahwari. He is our Head of Business Development. His main role is helping organizations understand the benefits they can reap from working with The Data Park.

Said was part of the executive management team that established TDP. He has more than 13 years of experience in Sales and Business Administration. He worked for multiple leading IT entities such as Mideast Data System and Advanced Business Computing prior to joining The Data Park.
